ik zou via speurders een polo gt van 2014 kopen met het kenteken8-SLX-53. Deze zou van een architecten gezin zijn die weer terug vertrokken is naar wales in engeland

aangezien zij in Engeland niets aan deze auto hebben willen ze deze verkopen in nederland

om te checken wat voor bedrijf het is kom ik op de site van opgelicht dus ik heb de koop gelijk afgezegd

dus iedereen pas op voor deze auto!!

Ik wil jullie graag wijzen op de volgende advertentie van marktplaats:

Verkoper/oplichter: Adam Thomas Land, Engeland

De auto wordt voor een veel te lage prijs aangeboden, moet vanuit Engeland komen met een transport bedrijf.
Het gaat om de verkoper Adam Thomas Land. Die volgens zijn verhaal in NL woonde maar door zijn werk plots naar Engeland moest.
Hij wil van de auto af en biedt aan de auto af te laten leveren voor het totale bedrag van 3000,-. (gem waarde 6200,-)

Ik ben erg behoedzaam maar was hier bijna ingelopen. Het is zeer sluw opgezet.
Zoals ik in eerder berichten op dit forum zag vermoede ik dat ik te maken had met dezelfde oplichter.

Ik heb contact gehad met de verkoper via de mail waarna ik diverse dingen heb uitgezocht. Alles lijkt in orde van autorapportages en foto’s tot het moment van levering, dan komt de tussenpartij erbij waar het geld naar gestort moet worden.
Gelukkig heb ik het niet zo ver laten komen maar dat geld dat u aan de tussenpartij betaald, ziet u nooit meer terug!
Dat is de oplichtingstruc (zie eerdere berichten)

Ik heb enkele stukken van de correspondentie toegevoegd. Hij begint blijkbaar steeds met dezelfde opbouw van de berichten:

De wagen is in perfecte staat en was nooit betrokken in een ongeval. Er zijn geen krassen of enige andere schade en de wagen kent geen motorproblemen. Het interieur is als nieuw en er is nooit in gerookt.
De wagen heeft nog steeds Nederland nummerplaten en is in het bezit van alle documenten, KEURINGSBEWIJS - APK vervaldatum 29-04-2020 en van 2 sleutels.

Mijn vrouw en ik kochten de auto om hem te gebruiken in de tijd dat we in Nederland woonden en werkten. Onlangs was ik ontroerd met mijn werk terug naar Birmingham B29 6TE, Engeland, dus ik heb de auto niet langer nodig omdat het stuur aan de linkerkant zit. De kosten voor het registreren van de auto in Engeland zijn te hoog en daarom hebben we besloten het in Nederland te verkopen. De auto bevindt zich nu in Engeland en de auto staat nog steeds op Nederlandse registratie.

Ik gaf u meer foto's van mijn auto, zodat u kunt zien dat het is in zeer goede staat.

Oke so far so good, het is allemaal mogelijk (maar klinkt te goed heh) Hij stuurt mij idd ook een kopie van een rijbewijs en paspoort van dhr. Adam Thomas Land. (Gestolen?)
Omdat ik er echt zeker van wil zijn dat ik niet te maken heb met een oplichter vraag ik hem om een video te maken van de auto, of een foto te maken van zijn gezicht met het paspoort. (gekke vraag maar goed)

En dan... is het vriendelijke contact opeens verdwenen.

De activiteiten van deze oplichters beperken zicht niet tot Nederland. Via Mobile.de en Autoscout24 en Ebay-kleinanzeichen.de worden ook diverse auto's aangeboden. De kenmerken: gemiddeld 30% onder de marktwaarde, lage KM stand, volledig onderhouden en alle opties aanwezig. De verkoper is vaak particulier en communiceert alleen via mail, kentekens zijn afgeplakt. Telefoonnummers worden niet verstrekt 'want met spreekt de taal niet'.

Net zoals ik hier in de eerste berichten uit 2012 lees wordt de afhandeling verricht door een "onafhankelijk" partij met een derden rekening. De versies die ik tegenkom: JAG-Logistics.com DPU-Logistics.com AKH-Logistics.com Allen recent (2020) geregistreerd en van matige kwaliteit (met Amerikaanse stock foto's) ofwel knippen plakken in 10 minuten online.

Ook ik kreeg vrij snel ongevraagd paspoort gegevens(*) toegestuurd, uiteraard met als doel "veilig" over te komen. Uitgebreid verhaal dat de auto in IJsland staat, Corona baan kwijt terug naar huis, te duur om te importeren, geld nodig etc etc. maar dat hij hem wel even wil laten zien. Hij heeft alle tijd want dankzij Corona is hij zijn baan kwijt geraakt. Hij wil niet bellen want hij spreekt alleen IJslands. Vervolgens kwam het verhaal dat vanwege quarantaine hij het eiland niet mag verlaten en wordt de optie via de transporteur besproken. Ineens zijn er nog meer geïnteresseerden in de auto en wordt er gepushed. Ëén van de foto's van details van het motorblok duikt overigens ook in andere advertenties. Alles is denk ik terug te leiden naar 1 kleine groep oplichters. Met een beetje goede wil van de politie en gezamenlijk actie van de domain hosters, Google, banken, mobiele provider(s) en de advertentie aanbieders, moet je vrij snel dit clubje boven water kunnen krijgen en opsluiten.

Maar wie oh wie van (internationale) politie pakt dit op en heeft de connecties?

Tot die tijd dames en heren, If it's too good to be true, it probably is..... Laat je niet verleiden, je weet zelf wanneer iets eigenlijk te goedkoop is. Maak nooit geld over voordat je een auto gezien hebt en de papieren bezit (en gecontroleerd) Wees wijs !!

Lees de verhalen hier nog even en breng jezelf op de hoogte. Eigenlijk zouden de online aanbieders een mail moeten sturen naar alle gebruikers om ze te informeren over deze vorm van fraude.

(* ik heb de persoon op het paspoort getraceerd. Hij gaf aan dat zijn paspoort was gekopieerd t.b.v. een artsen conventie in Genève, waar later middels een hack vele kopieën zijn gestolen. Voornamen worden een klein beetje aangepast en een gmail account is snel gemaakt)

I just checked out with uShip.com and it will cost me about 500 euros to deliver the car to The Netherlands
The final price including delivery is 5.250 and I think is a fair price for both of us. I will cover half of the delivery fee as I said in my previous email.
The car has German registration and my location is still Dublin, Ireland. We can do everything through the transport company, uShip.com, they are taking care of everything and they can arrange a delivery to your address. If you decide to buy the car I will need your full details (Full name, Address, Phone number). As soon as I have your details I will pass them to the transport company and they will start the procedure. Next step they will get in touch with you and send you an invoice for the car, the tracking number to check the status of the delivery at any time and all the rest of the transaction details. After you've received the invoice you'll need to make the payment by bank transfer to the transport company (NOT to me) and they will hold the money into their bank account until you receive, inspect and agree to keep the car. For the buyer's peace of mind I've also added a 5 DAYS REFUND POLICY so if you don't like the car, you'll receive a full refund, no fees or taxes deducted.
